I dont’ have a whole lot of respect for the former Governor of Arkansas. The matter wasn’t helped much when I saw the squishy answer he gave on the submission of wives in the South Carolina debate.  You can see the video here

The entire issue was summed up in a brilliant quote  by Chesterton at the start of the Bayly article.
